This tool is a must have for cam swaps, engine rebuilds, timing chain swaps, crank damper (harmonic balancer) removal and installation, and oil pump service. It also works well for removing and installing flywheel and flexplate bolts. Simply install this tool in the factory starter location with the supplied bolts.

Any time you need to remove the  front crank bolt, this tool will keep your engine from turning, ESPECIALLY when properly torquing the bolt to it’s final Torque + Angle specification.

The revised design now features stainless steel captured bolts. All the pieces now stay together, just toss it in your toolbox when you’re done with it, no looking for the right bolt ever again.

The tool fits all RWD/4WD/AWD GM LS engines. LS1,LS2,LS3, LS6, LS7, LS9, L99, LQ4, LQ9, LM7, LH8, LMG, L76, L92 and others.

This tool does not fit the LS4 Front Wheel Drive Vehicles including the 2006-2008 Impala SS, Monte Carlo SS etc.
